New York University - BS, Neural Science

I live in New York, NY, and I am attending New York University. I am studying neuroscience, while pursuing the field of medicine. While I do have a love for science, I am a big fan of art.I began my life as a tutor back in high school, when I would help my friends with their math homework. While doing that, I was also working with some ESL students with their English coursework. I was able to see just how much I enjoy teaching and knowing how I was able to help people.I am able to help with a variety of subjects, such as writing, math, and science sections. I believe that since every student learns differently, I have to use unique teaching methods to help them. I also work with them so that they feel comfortable to express their confusion and struggles. Since I know just how stressful academics can be, I try to help alleviate that stress. Some of the courses that I tutor in include algebra, reading, writing, grammar and mechanics, and chemistry. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, art, and writing. I also enjoy getting food with friends, watching live music, and checking out some art galleries.
