I specialize in tutoring writing, reading, and essay composition, and I enjoy helping students achieve success in their studies. I earned both a master's degree in Journalism and a bachelor's degree in Political Science at Columbia University. I think that many students become anxious when faced with the challenge of writing a great essay, and this often leads to writer's block. I like to help students tackle their challenges by teaching them the proper small steps to take to create a great paper. I find that once my students begin writing with these small steps in mind, they begin having fun and no longer dread the writing process. Subjects I can tutor include reading, writing, grammar and mechanics, elementary math, English, and other math courses. I also greatly enjoy helping students write their college essays along with any other essay or paper they need help with. When not tutoring, I like to ski, hike, dance, and, write.
