As a life-long learner, I have always enjoyed teaching and have had many opportunities to tutor. During my undergraduate years, I served as a teaching assistant in the general biology lab. In this role, helped students with experiments, prepared quizzes and helped them with any questions regarding their general coursework. I loved seeing the excellent progress my students made and it was rewarding to see them master concepts they previously struggled with. During my medical school career, I served a neurology tutor to first year medical students. It was just as exciting and fulfilling to me at this advanced level to be able to help my peers succeed. I am well qualified to help you master the basic sciences, having earned both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctor of Medicine. For those interested in pursuing a career in nursing, medicine or pharmacy, I know first hand how critical it is to excel in these subject areas for admission to graduate school and beyond.
