Experience
My college experience, especially with spectacular professors, made huge impacts to how I see the world not only through the lens of books and readings, but through the lens of a curious and imaginative eye. As a development major, I was immersed with professors whose approaches to teaching involved an engaging tone, creative examples, and strong patience towards their students. This is the kind of approach I would want other students to have an experience of especially while going through tough subject matters. When teaching, I start off by (re-)introducing topics imaginatively and relating them to likes and hobbies of my students so they would be engaged. I also ensure that my students have the time to learn the topics on their own, while repetitively answering topics to master the materials. While it is vital that they learn on their own, I adjust my methods depending on their individual needs to cater to their questions along the way. Three years into the journey of helping children with school, I have had experience tutoring one-on-one and groups of kids (from about 4-15 in number) spanning from Grades 1 through 10 (with some kindergartners and senior high students). I have also taught students who need special assistance and focused on helping them through their own pace while healthily challenging them to achieve their full potential and not be left behind in school. In the three years, I have tutored subjects such as Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Logarithms, Trigonometry, Graphing), Science (General/Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and English (Literature, Grammar, Reading Comprehension).

Hobbies
It is always my goal to not just impart knowledge but also skills to help my students in the long-run in their studies. Also, I like to make my students feel excited and comfortable as much as possible, that’s why I am willing to hear out suggestions my students and the parents would want to provide. I am easy to reach and would respond fast. If you have questions for me or you want to schedule a lesson, feel free to contact me right away! I love mythology, and play bowling and volleyball. I love watching series both animated and live-action. I make sure to bond with my students that's why I immerse myself to their likes and dislikes.
