Recent graduate of Bucknell University. Studied Theatre and Psychology, and received a cumulative GPA of 3.57, graduated cum laude.
Experience
I have extensive experience working with children ranging in age from 4-18. I worked as a golf instructor for underprivileged children, as a camp counselor, at a couple day care centers, and just recently as near-peer for the Listening Post in Lewisburg, PA where I helped students work through problems either relating to their personal lives or their school work. SAT scores: Math: 630, Reading: 680, Writing: 780 I want to be a tutor because I want to help students in any way that I can. I am going to be teaching English as a second language next year in South Korea because I genuinely want to help young people find their ways in the world. Furthermore, I believe education is the most important part of a child's life, and I want to help pique their curiosities about school subjects in order to show them how exciting learning can be. I took an SAT prep course. I'm taking TEFL on-line to learn how to teach English.
