Dane D.
Private tutor in New York, NY
Education
I attended Northern Michigan University where I earned my B.Sc. Accounting. My first "love" was International Marketing but because I want to own my own business one day, I felt drawn to learning about book-keeping and financial statements. It wasn't until I attended a course in investment banking (a semester before I graduated) that I felt validated in my decision to pursue a degree in Accounting as Accounting is the foundation for financial modeling. I obtained my MBA in Finance at Keller Graduate School of Management in NYC. It was during my Masters that my excellent grades led to several professors recommending me to be a tutor at the University. I tutored several undergrads and grad students in finance and accounting classes. My GPA at the end of my degree was: 3.84.
