I received my undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) in 2008 and my graduate degree from Manhattan School of Music in 2010. While at Barnard I was a Centennial Scholar, and presented a project on depictions of female madness in society and in opera.
Experience
I am a doggedly supportive, exceptionally organized and warmly positive tutor with over 6 years of experience and great results in standardized test prep and general subject tutoring, both at boutique agencies and as an independent tutor throughout New York City.I am committed to helping students through challenges and celebrating their triumphs with them. As a native New Yorker and an opera singer, I also know a thing or two about perseverance, grit, and creativity!
