I am currently in my Junior year of studying Philosophy at Columbia University. I have an interest in metaphysics, philosophy of language, ancient history & literature. I have taken IB and MYP courses in High School, at Wellington College in England.
Experience
I am looking to tutor because I have a longstanding interest in education and making learning feel relevant and rewarding. Setting up context (why is learning about this important?) and framing learning as how to approach questions, rather than rote facts are important aspects of my teaching style. I graduated IB with 42 points, taking HL Philosophy (7), Biology (7), Politics (6), SL Mathematics (6), English (7), German (6). I have been on the Dean's list for my 5 completed semesters at Columbia.

Hobbies
My personal hobbies mostly revolve around music. I play bass-guitar and have hosted a radio show for my university for several years. I particularly enjoy listening to Jazz and electronic music, from Ahmad Jamal to Aphex twin. I also enjoy cooking, which is a recently discovered interest.
