I earned my Master of Visual Arts from the Columbia University School of the Arts. I additionally attended NYU to earn another master's degree in English.I launched my professional career as a teacher when I took a position at SUNY at Fashion Institute of Technology and Baruch College as an adjunct professor. I have dedicated over a decade to tutoring, focusing on the subjects of writing, classics, test preparation, history, English, writing essays, and English lit. I especially enjoy teaching writing courses. I'm a firm believer that learning how to write effectively can only help students in any career or area of study they choose to pursue. It's fulfilling for me to see my students improve their grades, strengthen their skill sets, and achieve their goals. Tutoring also gives me the opportunity to work one on one with individuals to give them a more personalized approach to learning. This way, I'm able to more effectively evaluate and address their concerns and determine if they need extra help. It also allows me to see their successes firsthand, which may have a powerful effect on their future, both academically and professionally. My favorite pastimes are painting, writing, watching films, attending the theater, cooking, and traveling.
