I can tutor many subjects but am most passionate about helping students with ELL, Spanish, and Social Studies. I am now working towards a teacher certification in Social Studies and hope this leads to eventually getting my master's degree. As a tutor, I can nonetheless teach students English, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, History, and PSAT and SAT test preparation. My experience includes student teaching at two separate Manhattan schools (most of my teaching experience stems from this) and helping community leaders in the Bronx assist youth with finishing high school and getting into college.I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Social Studies Education from Brooklyn College. My concentration was in History. During my college studies, I worked in a local high school, serving students both as a tutor and an assistant teacher, which gave me great insight into how different people learn. I know a lot about teaching and working with students in a variety of subjects which makes me a great choice of tutor. Outside of studying and teaching, I have many different interests that I pursue in my free time. I love writing, baseball, soccer, swimming, snowboarding, weightlifting, and many other things.
