Experience
Students have different learning styles, so it's important to present information in multiple ways. I like to work with students to customize a tutoring experience that works best for them. I have tutored for the MCAT through the Princeton Review and tutored genetics in college. I scored in the 98th percentile (37) on my own MCAT and am very familiar with test taking strategies. I also took 7 AP tests in high school (biology, physics, calculus AB, calculus BC, comparative politics, US history, european history). Relevant college classes: general genetics (A), general chemistry I and II (A), statistics for biosciences (A+), introduction to comparative genomics (A+), developmental biology (A-), organic evolution (A), introduction to computational molecular biology (A-), general organic chemistry I and II (A), elementary physical chemistry (A), general biochemistry I and II (A), biophysical chemistry (A-), animal physiology (A-), principles of human genetics (A), immunology (A+), genomic analysis (A+), Analytical Biochemistry lab (A)
