-Worked as full time teacher and tutor for 6 months in Phuket, Thailand. -SAT score: 2180/2400 -In University I volunteered to tutor local high school students in the Verbal and Writing sections of the SAT through a philanthropic organization called Let's Get Ready. -It is often difficult for a student to find the individualized attention she needs in a classroom setting and therefore I feel that it is unequivocally important for students to find help outside of the classroom. As a tutor I try to be a mentor to my students as well as an instructor, and believe that a major part of my job is to help students discover a confidence in themselves to learn and grow inside the classroom. -TEFL Certified English and Mathematics teacher. -Trained as a Verbal and Writing tutor for the SAT.
