I have over 10 years experience teaching Mathematics, Physics and Statistics from high-school through to advanced undergraduate and masters level, and coaching students for admission to elite Universities. I offer Oxford-style tutorials focused on giving my students a clear and robust understanding of tricky concepts in a way that is tailored to each individual, whatever their level. I'm committed to ensuring that my students understand every concept at every step of the way; no stone is left unturned and I take the time to ensure there are no gaps in my students' understanding. Together with the student, we turn abstract concepts into something my students can relate to visually or emotionally, bringing the subject to life and making 'difficult' concepts easy. What I teach sticks; I take a progressive approach to revising material and concepts, exploiting the way our brains form long-term memories. This results in a rock-solid learning process that will stay with you for life. During the day I work as a post-doctoral astrophysicist doing cutting edge research on the origins and evolution of the cosmos. I'm educated at the University of Oxford (UK; undergraduate and masters) and have a PhD in Astrophysics from Imperial College London (UK).
