Education
I’m currently a graduating senior at York College CUNY majoring in mathematics with a minor in physics. My major GPA is 4.0 and my cumulative GPA is 3.7.
Experience
I served as a teacher assistant and tutor at my college in undergraduate level physics, chemistry and mathematics courses. Recently, I have worked for the John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth Program at their New York City site as a Program Assistant. In addition to my teaching and leadership experiences, I have also volunteered as a research assistant and worked on a Malaria Project which gave me the opportunity to publish two papers as a co-author. I have also participated in the Early Medical Education program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center last summer which gave me opportunities to shadow an ophthalmologist and a gastroenterologist, allowing me to gain some clinical and patient interaction experience. I'm currently studying for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) which I'm planing to take in January 2017. I'm applying for medical school next summer for the Fall 2018 entrance. I'm also planning to start the one year Master in Biomedical Science at Duke University in July 2017 which I will complete by May 2018. I'm a very well rounded individual as you can see, and I always give my best to my students.
