I have volunteered every summer of high school as a tutor and student monitor at a private tutoring center and the YMCA. It is very rewarding for me to see my students understand and do well after each session. In college, I worked as an Intro Biology lab TA where I got the opportunity to teach my own session. Here, I learned how to decipher material from the professor into easier understandable terms which I find is one of the toughest parts of any material. I am the oldest child of my generation and have also tutored my cousins and my younger siblings growing up. I have done very well in the courses I have taken in high school and college which helped me get into dental school. I am most comfortable with elementary (science and math), middle school (science and math), and high school (science) and college biology. Other services I can provide include reviewing applications and essays/personal statements for higher education for I have gone through that myself.
