Senior History Major at Siena College with a 3.55 cumulative GPA and 3.6 GPA in History. I will be graduating in May 2011.
Experience
I've tutored D1 Athletes as a work study job in foundations, history, and math in 2008-2009. I worked at Maple Hill High school aside a social studies teacher in 2009. I also helped out in an Urban Scholars program in 2009 assisting underprivileged kids of Albany, NY with developing better learning skills. I want to be a tutor because I think it will help me get the experience I need to become a teacher. I hope to go to grad school next spring to get my masters and teaching certification. I am a member of Phi Alpha Theta, Siena's history honor society and I have been awarded the MAAC All-Academic award in 2009 and 2010. I have taken 39 credits in History, 6 credits in Italian, 6 credits in Sign Language, and 6 credits in college level math.
