Education
I am currently a Physician Assistant Student at Pace University in NYC pursuing my Masters Degree, which I will finish in August of 2017 and become a certified PA. I graduated Syracuse University in 2015 Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and a 4.0 GPA. I also was part of the Renee Crown Honors Program for all four years as well as Phi Kappa Pi honors society.
Experience
I tutored throughout my undergraduate experience at Syracuse University for both college students and elementary kids alike. I have tutored various subjects, from topics in nutrition to elementary school to study skills, and feel that I can be extremely helpful to many students. Some of my strengths include helping kids with time management and organization as well as finding ways to make studying less overwhelming and stressful. I find myself to be very relatable as both a student and a individual, where I can easily mesh with different types of people. While I love learning, I also get so much enjoyment out of seeing other people thrive in school. I understand that it isn’t easy to get through the obstacles of education (not everyone likes it), and poor grades are disheartening after hard work. I feel confident that I can interact and influence each of my students in a way that is both helpful and motivating. I am enthusiastic and passionate about education, and can play the role of both a teacher, advocate, and friend, which I think is very important. Additionally, I am easy to contact and will always answer to my students, whether it be during the session or a question they may have at any other time.
