M.S. Mathematics with concentration in Actuarial Science; GPA: 3.945; the University of Connecticut, Storrs B.S. Mathematics summa cum laude from the University of the Philippines where the mathematical training is geared towards superstring theory, representation theory, analysis, matrix analysis, and partial differential equation as opposed to lucrative topics such as actuarial science and mathematical statistics, although such courses are offered there as well.

Experience

I tutored high school students as a college student. I have been tutoring college students as well. I was a graduate teaching assistant - instructor for calculus 2 and lecturer for calculus for business and economics. Important classes I've taken that divert from my degree program are Mathematical Economics and Econometrics. I also have minimum professional proficiency in French. Of the DELF exams, I've only passed A1.
