I have over two years' experience tutoring kids (from 7 to 12) with foreign language learning. I am enthusiastic to help children to speak in a new language, always coming up with activities that keep them engaged, motivated and inspired. The kids I have taught all reported making huge progress in their language learning. I have worked as a tutor in mainland China, Hong Kong, and the U. S. With my own liberal arts education background, I was able to help my students to not only study the language, but more importantly, cultures, meanings, and different ways of seeing through language. In addition, I like working with students who are interested in writing in Chinese since I identify myself, foremost, as a writer. I am a native speaker in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
