Spent three years as a high school science teacher educating students in the subjects of anatomy, physiology, chemistry, biology and environmental science. Also acted as a mentor for seniors as they navigated their transition to college, headed a mentorship program to close the reading gap in struggling elementary schools, and founded a student store with a financial course in order to teach students lifestyle skills. I now am a 7th grade math teacher in New York, but provide tutoring weekly to a group of middle school students and mentor a group of middle school boys to build their knowledge of government, science and applicable life skills.
