I am a graduate of New York University with a B.S. in Environmental Studies , with minors in Environmental Biology and French.
Experience
I have tutored for 5+ years for college and high school students in the city, in regular, IB, and AP classes, in subjects including Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc and Calculus, Environmental Science, and English/Writing. I used to tutor kids at my church, from ages 9 through 15. I have also tutored in Paris, in IB Math Studies. My SAT score was 2120, and my AP score average was 4.2. I want to be a tutor because I love helping others learn. Teaching is a possible career in the future, and getting other people to understand and enjoy subjects makes me very happy. In my senior year of high school, I was one of two recipients in my 485-person class that Google gave laptops to for excellence in math and science. I had AP Scholar Distinction awards in my junior and senior year of high school, so I definitely know how to help your student achieve their goals of doing well in their AP courses and exams.

Hobbies
I've been playing piano for ten years, and guitar for three. I also love to sing and compose music in my spare time. Though I'm not in any club sports, I swim regularly and used to play tennis quite a bit. I love film, music, television, and Broadway/Off Broadway plays.
