Experience

I'm good at explaining politics…but what I know will only be useful to you if I can help you learn it and remember it. Luckily, that's my job; I explain politics to clients whose business and/or political interests are exposed to political risk. My clients don't just want to understand what's happening – they need to understand. Do you? I want to help you understand politics, but I can't do it alone…I will need your help. With our powers combined, I am positive that YOU can master political science! Even if you think you'll never “get it,” or you're struggling to write your final paper, I promise you…we can do this. To tell you a little about myself, I have a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations, and a Juris Doctor (JD) with a concentration in International Law, both from Duke University (both are nationally ranked top-ten programs). I received my Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science & International Relations from The American University in Washington, DC, where I've also lectured on geopolitical risk in Africa and Latin America. Since graduating a couple years ago, I've published geopolitical and economic analysis everywhere from Nasdaq.com to Yahoo Finance. Venezuela at a Crossroads: http://www.nasdaq.com/article/venezuela-at-a-crossroads-cm493241 Selected Articles: http://oilprice.com/contributors/Gonzalo-Molina/articles I've also consulted for geopolitical strategy firms whose clients come from Africa, Latin America, Europe, and the United States. What you get: - Focused, in-depth, personalized one-on-one mentoring in the study and application of Political Science; - Help brainstorming, writing, and editing your term paper(s); - Help preparing for quizzes, exams, and presentations; - Help with specific topics in Political Science, including American politics, world politics, political history, political theory & philosophy, international trade law & practice, bi-lateral and multi-lateral investment and trade treaties, laws of war & armed conflict, terrorism law, American constitutional law & politics, Maritime law, theories and histories of democracy, republicanism, communism, socialism, fascism, etc., indigenous/native rights, realpolitik, nuclear proliferation, the World Wars, the Cold War, the War on Terror, the American Revolution, colonial wars and wars of independence across Latin America and Africa…the list goes on… My point is that if you need help understanding political science, or you need help writing about it for a paper or exam, I'm here to help! I have a very busy weekday schedule but I'm willing to take one or two students.
