I am a Junior at Brooklyn College majoring in French-Business and Political Science and minoring in History. I am a Dean's List honoree and have a 3.8 GPA. I received my A.A. degree from Bard College majoring in Liberal Arts through Bard High School Early College.
Experience
I have been tutoring for six years and love every minute of it. For 2 1/2 of those six years, I was a reading tutor for elementary and middle school students. I have tutored in History, English, Social Studies, Test Prep, Essay Editing, and Study Skills for a multitude of grade levels. I have also worked with Master's degree students on essay editing and test prep for class exams.

Hobbies
I love to eat pizza and chocolate- they're two of my favorite things. When I'm not eating them, I like to read, write, play the piano, listen to music, travel, and hang out with my friends. Some of my favorite childhood authors include: Avi, Roald Dahl, and J.K. Rowling. From childhood 'til now, I love reading historical fiction and mythology- it takes me to a new and yet somewhat familiar world. It's one of the reasons that the novel I'm working on is a historical one. I love to travel and have been to 9 countries so far. I hope, however, to get to 30 before I turn 30. Wish me luck! One of my favorite travel experiences is when I lived in South Korea for a year. It was an eye-opening experience and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Hopefully I'll be able to go again soon.
