I attended the Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia to earn my bachelor's in literature with a minor in management. I spent a year abroad at the University of Essex. As a Latin T.A. at ULA, I worked one-on-one with students to determine what class concepts they were having trouble understanding while helping them improve their grasp. Today, I tutor students in Spanish, reading, English, and literature. I can help my students as they build their understanding of Spanish from the bottom up. As a native Spanish speaker, I have the knowledge it takes to offer feedback and corrections in conversational Spanish, writing, and speaking. While tutoring in the language, I help my students develop an understanding of the culture as well. As a tutor, I believe it is important that I provide motivation, support, and dedication to ensure that my students can succeed. No matter what their goal may be, I aim to help them meet it. Ultimately, tutoring should allow the student to go beyond just learning the content, but mastering it fully. By providing interactive and engaging sessions, I make learning Spanish fun. Outside of tutoring, I love to bake, watch movies, read books, and explore museums.
