I am a bilingual teacher who works with students with disabilities, often with multiple disabilities. Many of my students start off unable to speak English. I strive to develop my student's confidence in their ability to learn new skills. I believe that trust between student and instructor is invaluable to the learning process. My students know that I care about their goals and achievements. I am skilled in Spanish, Italian, math, English, and ESL/ELL, among other topics. It is important that students learn about the culture and customs of the language they are learning. It helps them to form a solid connection with the language. I adjust my teaching style to suit my student, including their strengths, fears, goals, and disabilities. Learning a new language is challenging, but a solid instructor who is patient and encouraging can make all the difference. I strive to provide a safe learning environment that allows many opportunities for success. I can help a student improve their understanding of Italian grammar, build upon their pre-calculus foundation, or bolster their performance on their Spanish test. When I'm not tutoring or improving my teaching skills, I enjoy many outdoor activities, such as running and swimming. I also love to read.
