My tutoring theory is that I need to help my students improve their skills in the subjects they need help with. It is my desire to see my students recognize their own potential and see that they can reach their goals. It is my duty to equip my pupils with as my knowledge and as many skills as I can. Being a tutor has made a huge impact on my life because I have been able to connect, help, and teach so many students. Right now I am earning my Bachelors of Communications. In the past I have had the chance to tutor children ages three and up. I began tutoring when I was a freshman in high school. I tutored junior high students in Spanish, writing, and reading. Once this experience came to an end, I realized I loved it and that is when I went on to teach children from ages three and up. I am currently also working as a writing consultant in New York City. I am looking forward to helping many students as possible using my knowledge and skills. When I am not teaching, you can find me playing basketball, piano, and guitar.
