Experience
Up until my junior year of high school, I despised school. I was often described as a promising pupil, but I just wasn't interested. I began enjoying school when I took an AP History course, that class made me realize I had a personal investment in learning. I began to immediately realize that as my grades got better, I had more freedom. From that point forward, I gave every assignment my all and it ended up paying off. I entered college with an amazing scholarship one year early. I have my bachelor's and master's degree in U.S. History. In addition to my new found freedom in a new state and new college, I gained a wide array of skills that have helped me in nearly every aspect of my life. I am now able to improvise in situations I may not be familiar with, I can also argue and persuade effectively. Additionally, my ability to come up with highly interesting research questions got me admitted to my graduate program. My favorite part of tutoring is helping pupils realize how much they can benefit from their education. I am looking forward to helping many students gain a new love for education!
