I obtained my bachelor's degree in physiology at the University of California-Los Angeles. I began tutoring at 16 when I started taking advanced math courses at school. I've gained more than 10 years of experience as a private tutor, primarily for math. I'm capable of tutoring elementary through college-level students. I can help students understand concepts related t pre-calculus, algebra, elementary school math, biology, and other topics. I am a patient person, particularly with my students, and am happy to work through concepts as slowly or quickly as necessary for total comprehension. My students have achieved their academic goals and improved their scores after working with me. I can review material for test prep, as well as teach test-taking strategies that can bolster their performance on any exam. I make learning fun and relevant to the student's life. I believe that private tutoring is a great way for students to fill in any learning gaps they may have, prepare for college coursework and exams, and develop invaluable academic skills. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring Los Angeles' restaurants with my friends. I am a cook and always try out new recipes. I am addicted to Netflix, but I also enjoy spending time outdoors on my bike or hiking.
