Experience
I earned my B.S in Psychology with a focus on Communications from Tufts University. I later obtained from Vanderbilt University, my master's in Business Administration in Strategy and Sustainability. After graduation, I worked for two years in the field of corporate communications and then another three years for the New York City Department of Education in their administration department. My job was to help implement educational programs designed to reform the New York City public school system. These programs were designed to help advance the quality of the education that was offered to all their students. I offer tutoring in a wide range of subjects and topics such as math, psychology, marketing, and SAT prep, but I mostly enjoy tutoring English, particularly editing essays and other writing skills. I feel like these are the skills that have proved to be of the most use to me in my own personal career and educational choices and I would like to extend this knowledge on to others. It is my belief that a student's successful academic career should begin with a few simple building blocks, which include goal setting and organization, as well as learning how to become confident of their own success. When I have spare time, I like to practice yoga, bake, and travel. I also enjoy spinning, running, as well as spending quality time with my friends and family.
