I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2015. I finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.7.
Experience
I worked as a camp counselor at a day camp for three years, leading groups of children between the ages of 6-9. My responsibilities included planning day-to-day activities for the children, teaching them basic skills in art, music, and sports, and leading them in their annual choreographed group talent show. I was twice awarded the "Counselor of the Week Award." Before my work as a camp counselor, I was a Sunday School teacher's assistant. This gave me experience working one-on-one with students who were falling behind in their weekly lessons. Since I am Jewish, these lessons would typically be about reading and writing in Hebrew. I took the SATs in high school and finished with a score of 2000. I was the captain of my high school soccer team, and I'm proficient in Italian. Why do I want to be a tutor? As a recent college graduate, I have yet to land on a true career path. I have recent experience in sports broadcasting, production, and sales. Yet, when I reflect on my work history, I find that my interactions with children have easily been my most fulfilling experiences. It is the only line of work that I've been involved with that allow me to truly feel like I've made a significant difference in someone's life on a day-to-day basis.

Hobbies
Sports have always been a major part of my life. I am the former captain of my high school soccer team and the current captain of my fantasy football team. I grew up in a Boston suburb, so be warned that I may convert your children into Patriots fans. I think that my biggest hobby is traveling. I studied abroad for a semester in Rome, and I've been to countless countries across the world. Most of my experience in traveling has been in Europe, but I have also been to China, Israel, and many Caribbean countries, as well. A few more fun facts about me: -I'm fascinated by ancient history -I adore dogs -I write comedy in my free time.
