ExperienceI'm a tutor based in New York City, where I enjoy drawing, visiting museums, and taking Zumba classes when I'm not working with students. I'm a native New Yorker, and I graduated from Columbia University in 2012. I'm also a graduate of Cornell University, where I received my MBA degree and a graduate from Fordham University where I attended the school of education with a concentration in special education. I have six years of tutoring experience in the New York City area, where I've taught a diverse range of subjects to a diverse group of students. Some of my favorite subjects to tutor include English, middle school math, standardized test preparation, and algebra. I've been passionate about tutoring since high school, when I often tutored other students. I really enjoyed the process of sharing knowledge and helping them improve. My passion for tutoring continued when I moved on to Columbia, and continues now. I've been told by past clients that I'm very helpful, caring, patient, and dedicated. As a tutor, my goal is to give students the skills they need to feel confident about taking control of their own education. Ultimately, I want all of my students to become self-sufficient, lifelong learners.
