I have taught History at college level for 35 years. Concurrently to my formal teaching, I have also tutored students ranging from elementary to high school level. I have tutored World History, the History of Europe, History of Asia, and history of America, along with language training in Russian, Uzbek and Tajik. I was educated in Russian, my native language is Tajik and I am also fluent in the formal language of Uzbekistan – Uzbek. Teaching is my passion. My students do not only progress in the subject(s), but also develop communication skills, critical thinking skills, research skills, and that growth is rewarding for me to see. Hobbies

As a proud father of three, I enjoy to spend time with my family and friends. One of my interests is to explore cultural and historic places in New York. My favorite place is the Metropolitan museum. It is very interesting, that during my lectures I used to show pictures of the artifacts that are exhibited in the Met. Nowadays, I have a unique opportunity to see those artifacts with my own eyes and share their value with my close ones. I am also fond of cooking. My wife and I spend a lot of time experimenting with different foods and creating new recipes.
