I have a bachelor of arts in Chinese literature, a bachelor of science in psychology, and a masters of arts in research and experimental psychology. I earned my bachelor's degrees at National Taiwan University and my masters at New York University. Since then, I've enjoyed sharing education with students. I have been tutoring privately for five years. The students I work with vary in experience levels, but all leave successful. I'm fluent in Pinyin and Mandarin phonetic symbols, as well as simplified and traditional Chinese writing. I can teach students to speak Chinese, as well as provide support to class work. I can also help students prepare for national college admissions tests. Many of my students have gone on to attend National Taiwan Normal University, the National Yang-Ming University, and other top universities. In addition to Chinese, I can tutor students in statistics, psychology, social sciences, and math courses. I am skilled in SPSS and SAS, as well as knowledgeable about statistic software and procedures. I work with students to improve their study skills and strategies, as well as to prepare for standardized tests like the General Scholastic Ability Test and Advanced Subjects Tests. Outside of teaching, I enjoy crafting, particularly crochet and knitting, creative writing, and reading.
