I went to Queens College for my bachelor's degree in sociology. I'm now applying to graduate school for an MBA. I have four years of experience in teaching and tutoring, during which time I've covered AP US history and other subjects as well as test preparation for the ACT, SAT, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL. I enjoy tutoring AP US history the best because I enjoy storytelling and the events covered in this course are interesting. I'm always refining my methods and resources to improve the effectiveness of my teaching, because I want my students to succeed. When I see progress in my students, it is very gratifying to me. I like to help students understand concepts fully as opposed to using memorization. When I have free time, I enjoy running, watching movies and TV, listening to music, and sports.
