I have my BA in Communication from the University at Buffalo and received my MA from CUNY Hunter in Early Childhood Development.

Experience

I have been teaching for five years and have experience in both Kindergarten and First grade. I have particular interest in tutoring children in reading (pre reading, phonics, phonological awareness) because as a teacher, I know how important it is for our children to have a strong foundation in literacy. I wrote my thesis on the importance of language and literacy development and have done extensive research on the topic.

I also enjoy reading ( I have an extensive book collection) as well as a love for the beach. I spend my summers out in in Montauk and get to the beach as much as possible.
