I attended Columbia University for my bachelor's degree and for my law degree. I'm now an attorney, and I've had the opportunity to live and study abroad, so I have many influences and experiences to draw upon as a tutor. I understand that every student learns differently, and it is my responsibility to present information in a way that my student can benefit from it. The most valuable thing I can do as a tutor is to explain material in a way that allows the student to develop a fundamental understanding and a methodology with which they can apply that knowledge independently. I also help students develop study skills and the work ethic they need to study efficiently and effectively. I can tutor students in reading, writing, essays, English grammar, literature, Mandarin Chinese, and test preparation for the LSAT. When I have free time, I enjoy ballroom dancing and trying out restaurants in New York City.
