Graduated Roger Williams University's Masters Program- May 2013 With a Master of Architecture Degree, a Minor in Construction Management, and a Minor in Art and Architectural History This program has been accredited by the NAAB since 2002 Completed Thesis of Architecture (Fall 2012) - Focusing on Sustainable development in the form of a transit Center for Long Island City, New York. (Project incl. in Portfolio) Completed Graduate comprehensive Design Studio - designing the entryway for the Alhambra palace complex in Granada, Spain. Visited the Site in March 2012. Attended the Study abroad program at Palazzo Rucelai, Florence, Italy August 2010 - December 2010 Placed in the Top 20 of over 200 submissions in an Architectural Design Competition for a Cineplex in Long Island City (SuckerPunch Studios) Maintained 3.2 GPA throughout all 6 years of College. Experience
I have previously tutored drafting in Autocad, post-processing in Photoshop, and 3d modeling in Sketchup/rendering with Vray. I enjoy teaching people the tricks that I've learned throughout my education and career that would've helped to know along the way. I was an Architectural Designer at Wilson Associates in Manhattan for a year and a half. Although WA specializes in interiors, I was a member of their architectural division known as Redline. I learned a great deal from that busy studio environment, having worked on several international projects there. During my time at WA I was responsible for design-work, sketching, 3D modeling, rendering of plans and elevations, as well as drafting and composing final drawing sets for the client. It was very beneficial to work on projects throughout all phases of the design process. Although this was a huge step in the right direction, I was still searching for a more challenging and creative - Architectural role. That’s when I joined GRADE’s Architecture team, focusing on high-end residential Architecture. At GRADE I have been a member of their “House” Division for a year, and it has been a very rewarding process so far. Between 6 years in school and almost 3 in the field in New York, NY I have a good amount of knowledge that I can share. I currently Commute from Hicksville to Manhattan daily, so I am flexible in terms of "near Hicksville" vs "near New York, Ny".
