I attended Cornell University for my bachelor's degree in biological sciences, and I'm now attending Columbia for my graduate degree in nutrition. I've always tutored informally, helping friends and peers to learn the subjects we were studying together, but I began tutoring chemistry formally as a college freshman. I continued in college to help students learn microbiology, biochemistry, biology, and chemistry. I'm well aware that many students don't learn well in a classroom setting, and I enjoy giving the student individualized attention so that I can teach to their learning style. I like to help students learn effectively and efficiently to achieve success. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, horse riding, gardening, and cooking.
