I was born and grew up in China, native in both Cantonese and Mandarin. I completed Bachelor of Arts Degree in language studies at Jinan University, China and Master of Philosophy at The University of Hong Kong. I obtained State Language Commission Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC) Level 2 in 2013. I have had years of working experience in the education sector. I was serving as a full-time Programme Executive/Senior Consultant at distinguished universities and educational institutions, the posts I have held for a couple of years. My job duties consist of teaching, programme and course management in the instruction of Japanese and Mandarin languages to teenagers and adults, the preparation of course materials and on-going development. Also I held part-time positions as Mandarin teacher/private tutor throughout the years in tutorial centers and language schools, with students from primary school, international school and foreign adults. These positions have endowed me with professional knowledge, pedagogical ability and improved interpersonal skills. I have come away from the experience with stronger organizational and presentation techniques.
