CUNY City College - Current Undergrad, Mechanical Engineering

I'm pursuing my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from CUNY City College, and I want to work in the energy field. My goal is to produce renewable energy and conserve the environment. I understand as an engineering student that getting the right answer to a problem does not always demonstrate understanding. Formulas can be memorized, but true understanding and problem-solving skills will help students apply what they know in any situation. When we face difficult problems, we can break them down to the basics and work our way back up. It's all about the information that is provided and what we can apply to that based on our knowledge. I want to show students how to develop this approach within themselves, helping them build confidence in their abilities and reducing frustration. There are many ways to solve problems, and I will help my students figure out the ways that work best for them. In my free time, I enjoy studying history and the environment, exploring the city, and trying new things.
