Experience
I am a tutor with a unique background, both academically and in life. I come from Athens, Greece, where I was born and raised. I have experience in numerous different geographical and classroom settings because of my travels. I am able to think critically, problem solve quickly, and connect with people of all backgrounds. You will also find that I have learned strong communication skills, which I apply to my tutoring sessions. Organization skills are also a must when tutoring others and I have those as well. All of these qualities and skills that I have learned because of my past have made me an ideal tutor. Diving into my academic and geographic background, you will see how I came to be a successful tutor. After high school in Athens, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance in 2004. From there, I knew I wanted to explore, so I ended up in New York City. I graduated in 2008 with my Master's in Business Administration from Pace University. Right now I work in a language school, teaching the Greek language to kids and adults, both one-on-one and in groups. I also work as an online Greek teacher and translator. In addition, my clinical trial hours were spent observing in both public and private school settings. I believe that all of this experience should be used to help others and I look forward to helping you or your student.
