I attended the University of Pennsylvania, where I received my bachelor's degree in economics with a focus on marketing. At the moment, I am living in New York City and preparing for the GMAT, with the hopes of entering a graduate program. Preparing for the GMAT has helped me gain a better understanding of the stress and frustration that comes with preparing for standardized tests, and for that reason, I work with high school students who're studying for the SAT so that I can help them prepare academically and mentally for test day. When it comes to tutoring, math is my specialty. Not only is it what I focused on in college, but it's also my strongest area of study. In fact, when I took the SAT, I was able to score above the 95th percentile for math. I also have experience teaching students in test prep, in addition to a variety of other subjects they may be struggling in. For me, there's no better feeling than to watch a student understand a topic that they were initially struggling with. Also, I grew up as the oldest in a large family. This has helped me to develop the patience and skills needed to work with younger students.
