Experience
I attended Port Jervis High School where I was valedictorian of my graduating class. Upon receiving the title of valedictorian, I began to realize how deep my love for education is. After graduating high school, I attended Fordham University, where I acquired degrees in both English and French. I also minored in comparative literature and psychology. While studying for my degrees, I had the privilege of studying abroad. I lived in both London and Paris. Living in these places has been a blessing and enjoyable experience. Upon returning home from studying abroad, I volunteered in the Bronx at a preschool. While working at the preschool, I found a new love for teaching and early literacy. Once I graduated from Fordham, I joined the New York City teaching fellowship program which led me to go for my certification in special education and English. Currently, I am a teacher for students in tenth and eleventh grade. I currently teach French, history, and English to my students. As for my teaching style, I believe in being patient and understanding. I truly have a love for what I teach. I try to show that love to my students, in hopes that they will share the same affinity. When I am not teaching, I love going to theatrical performances in the Big Apple and exploring all the different hot spots in NYC.
