Education
I am currently undertaking the USCPA as I am transitioning from my International CPA status. In 2006 I graduated from New York Institute of Technology with an Executive Master of Business Administration. In 1997 I completed the CPA Australia exams and was admitted as a fully qualified accountant. I started my formal accounting education in 1988 and graduated from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia with a Bachelor of Business major in Accounting & Public Accounting
Experience
I am currently employed at a Big 4 accounting firm in tax and accounting advisory. I have over 20 Years international experience in accounting and finance divisions at a number of multinational banks in locations including Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, UK and now the USA. During my time in Asia i was working part time at MDIS, Singapore as an Associate Lecturer, Part Time where my responsibilities included: • Assisting the head lecturers from Australian universities to lecture and tutor the Singapore based students in Taxation, Financial Accounting and presentation skillls at the undergraduate and masters level. • Designing and lectured the syllabus for taxation subjects for the Graduate Diploma of Finance degree • Designing and graded mid term and final examinations in coordination with the university’s examination committee and policy. • Providing students with career guidance in the areas of accounting and taxation for public accounting and corporate accounting roles.
