Hi! I currently hold a Masters in TESOL education from Hofstra University. I graduated with a 3.7. I am currently New York State certified in grades k-12 for ESL. I have a bachelors degree in English, as well as a minor in writing and a minor in Spanish. I currently teach high school students from China, Vietnam, Korea, and Spain. I am well invested in the success of my students and dedicate extra time and after school to ensure their success.
Experience
Throughout my college career I have tutored in writing centers and individual students on the side. Being a tutor is not only rewarding for the student, but for the tutor as well. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing you took extra time to help an individual student or small group of students excel in a subject area that was a challenge for them. I take pride in knowing I am a key asset to helping my students improve. Years ago during an internship I was given the opportunity to write articles for a magazine company and I was chosen three times for publication.
