Experience

Hi, I'm Kadiah. I love science, so I feel fortunate to be able to teach it. I teach Biology, Earth Science, Health, and general science that is found on the GED and HSED tests. My love for science leads me to believe that a proper science teacher will explain the usefulness and depth of science while keeping the lesson engaging and fun for students. I look forward to providing future clients with this experience.I have my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Pre-Med focus. After I had graduated, I became part of Teach for America and have been teaching for four years. During the first two years of teaching, I earned a master's degree from Fordham University in Science in Special Education. I currently teach in the 79th District, which focuses on students that struggle in the customary learning environment. Through my experiences, I have learned that each student is different and has different learning needs. I do whatever I can to help my students succeed; sometimes this requires using a unique teaching style or tapping into different resources.
