I am a tutor who is eager to share my fondness for learning with my students. As a teacher, I believe all students can learn as long as the material is presented in a way that they understand. It's possible that nobody has done that for them yet, so I encourage them to use new and innovative ways to approach problems and find a path to understanding.I have a Bachelor of Arts from Clark University in Political Science with a minor in History. I tutor Elementary Math, ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, College Essays, American History, European History, Study Skills and Organization, AP United States History, Geography, AP European History, AP U.S. Government & Politics, Homework Support, Math, English, Social Studies, and Study Skills. My tutoring experience includes working with students from 8 to 12 years old while I was a student at Clark. I spent two years in an elementary school with City Year Boston working with students in various subjects. Much of my time there was helping students both individually and in groups. I also worked with high school students for one summer.I was born and raised in New York and recently returned there. In my free time, I enjoy baseball, reading, history, and travel.
