My name is Eva. I'm a Belgian interpreter who moved to NYC about two years ago. Back in Brussels, I worked both as an interpreter and private language teacher. Not only did I help children with their homework -I also tutored students who needed assistance preparing for an important test. Although I mainly taught French, English, Dutch and art history were also part of my program. Here in NYC, I only teach French. Teaching only French has allowed me to cover each and every aspect of the language and to be even better prepared for any complex grammar questions my students might have . As you can see -languages play a significant role in my life! I'm a trained interpreter with French, English and Dutch as my 'main languages'. However, I'm convinced that it's not just my academic background that makes me an excellent teacher. Growing up In Brussels and being surrounded with both Dutch and French speaking friends, I already knew the difficulties of the French language from a very young age. And for as long as I can remember, it has always been a pleasure to help people develop a taste and even a passion for French!
