Boston College - Bachelors, Business - Math minor

I believe in discovering a student's potential to help him or her achieve a successful college career. My tutoring specialties focus on middle and high school students who need assistance with mathematics as well as obtaining a high SAT score. In high school, my SAT results placed me in a high ranking group and I feel this qualifies me to help students learn how to achieve a high score on the test. I attended Boston College where I studied math and finance. I tutored while at Boston and now that I'm living in Manhattan, I hope to do the same.Boston College instilled in me the importance of connecting to one's community. It also stressed the importance of utilizing personal experiences to assist others in the community. I understand how to adapt my methods to different learning styles and I feel comfortable providing motivation. These methods serve as the best ways to prepare students for a successful academic career and life. As a tutor, I work with various levels of math ranging from elementary to AP statistics, test prep, SAT writing, and verbal skills. My interests include sports like basketball, football, and running. I like travel and try new foods.
