Creating a personal bond with the students that I teach is my first method of operating as a teacher. I think that having a personal connection helps to ease students into trusting me and helps me understand my students and their methods of learning. I know that some may deal with anxiety due to learning. To decrease anxiety in my students, I encourage them to deal with their fears head on. I attended Granite State University and Long Island University - Brooklyn Campus. My goal is to make my students comfortable with all of their school materials so that they are easily able to pick up on concepts and perform well. I like to tutor in science subjects such as Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, and more. For my younger students, Phonics lessons are crucial, along with learning Literature, Grammar, and Mechanics. For the students who are having trouble studying at home, I can teach Study Skills and Organization, as well as offer Homework Support. I am also here for students who need summer tutoring in order to get ahead for classes. I currently reside in New York City, NY, and I love reading, exploring the theatre arts, and finding new things around my city.
